2010 年 3 月開始兩大香港討論區開始檢查用戶有否在瀏覽器使用去廣告軟件。如果有使用 Adblock Plus 的話，可以加入「*_rev09.js$domain=discuss.com.hk|uwants.com」的規則，但會令到兩大香港討論區的部分 JavaScript 功能如 Tab、推薦等附加功能無法使用。
