Gawker Media Sites Classic
Description:
Make sure you are using the "Classic view" mode.
I also have a companion theme that makes Gawker Media sites black: Gawker Media Sites Classic Dark
If you want search functionality back, install the Gawker Media Sites Classic userscript made by me which you can find here: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/96813
The userscript as also been updated, so make sure you update that as well.
More info
[Update Feb 9]
-Gallery view now stretches entire page
-Disables videos above headline from being floated to the right of the article text(doing so broke user interaction with videos[for me at least])
-Make the "Click to view" button on some certain pages a bit smaller(why the hell is it so huge?)
-Hides ad that was present in the right sidebar as it overlapped text(leaves ad in article alone though[use an adblocker if you want to remove that])
[Update Feb 17]
-Moved tag and share info to bottom of post so it isn't right in the middle of articles.
[Update Feb 28]
-Sidebar is hidden differently to fix performance issues(some Gawker js freaks out if it can't find the sidebar so you can't outright hide it, I just moved the bar offscreen so it's the same in effect).
[Update March 8]
-Fixed width of article excerpts
-Changes to image height in gallery(so you don't have thousand pixel tall images)
