There's some kind of quirk with border-collapse or maybe I'm not using it correctly - it's supposed to make adjoining cells share/merge their borders, so that it doesn't look like you have 4px border thickness when you set it 2px. It seems okay at default zoom, but at a zoomed-in state, there is discrepancy of border thickness here and there.
