Id say Peterborough were the better team for this first stage of the match and Town struggled to find a rhythm. This was definitely not helped by the frequent fouls that were given away 11 given against us compared to one in our favour by half time. Some were clearly fouls and others were a bit picky but the majority of the times the ref blew it was because Town were enthusiastically pressing Peterborough high in their own half. But the ref kept bailing them out, probably with good reason in most cases, and it stopped us from getting those little nibbles on the ball that a high press often rewards the defending team with.
