Bring back the original google menu with this simple trick just add ?noj=0 to the end of your google search domain.

example: https://www.google.com.au/?noj=0

If you use firefox and it keeps going back to the old google search page delete your browser chache and if on windows right click on the firefox icon on the start menu and check if google search is pinned if so unpin it.
