I've just found out that for some reason after applying the style suggestions for contacts sometimes fail to appear when typing letters in the "to" field in a new message box. I don't think I can fix this, as Google's css framework is so messy and confusing that it's hard to tell where the problem might be (it was very hard to even make all the design changes). Either they have such chaos in their minds, or they do it on purpose to their code by scrambling it and naming everything randomly and with no apparent organization. I'm not going to redesign anything by google any more, I'll play with other sites.
