Productivity Boost for IBM Connections (ProB4IC)
Description:
More info
Productivity Boost for IBM Connections (ProB4IC) [pronunciation: PROBIKE] is custom Stylish template. It fixes shortcomings and annoyances of IBM Connections.
### Features
Connections-wide
# Always visible, fix positioned, nicely looking flying action buttons (e.g. Edit, Save, Cancel, etc) -- no need to scroll when saving or editing content (wikis, activities, etc.),... ever again.
# Less obtrusive check-boxes, with some opacity -- were almost glowing
# Huge Connections status bar on top moved to bottom, hidden, and made to respond on mouse-over -- was unrealistically ugly
# Logos removed (lotus, Connections, etc.) -- no need for them, we all know this is our product
# Message containers (some) given more focus. They remain on-screen now, due to fix positioning -- "Page has been saved", "Entry must have a title", etc. notifications disappeared fast
Activities
# "Entry" item type icon removed -- was simply ugly and had no benefit
# "Past due date" date notification restyled for harmony -- was ugly, very ugly and obtrusive
# Item-Action buttons [AddComment|AddTodoItem|Edit|MoreActions] converted to real buttons -- they looked like links before, though they offer button-like actions
# "Opened" items now display with colored backgrounds to ease orientation and navigation -- was confusing and unsegmented, it was easy to get lost
# In "Edit" mode background color added for better visibility and navigation, plus the whole view was compressed and optimized, for better vertical space utilization -- used huge space vertically
# "More Options" Link converted into a button -- "more Options" is a useless feature, as you always have to click it, for every item, but looks at least better this way
