Quake Live cleaned up
Description:
Hides all the adverts on the main site.
Gets rid of whatever fugly background it's currently sporting.
Changes the header menus.
Clean up windowed game mode - Leaves only the game, chat and the back to the website link, everything else is hidden or black.
Removes the pre-game advert.
Misc stuff.
More to come when I can bring myself to mess about with stuff.
Regards,
QOAL
More info
Pregame advert removal works once again, however sound is muted and the right side chat panel is blank until the count down is over.
-- Note about 26th of October 2010 update --
As I expected (quite literally), the quakelive client now enforces the viewing time of the advert along with throwing up a splash, if game/map loads and the timer still hasn't reached 0.
The advert is still hidden by this style, so it's not all doom and gloom.
I recommend installing greasemonkey and this script: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/88189 :)
-- Updated 4th of April 2011 --

-- Updated 20th of May 2011 --
Finally got round to making the match browser look cleaner.
-- Updated 21st of May 2011 --
Added a hover state to the matches in the match browser, like it has by default.
Added some more fitting, inverted, soft game type icons to the matches in the match browser.
-- Updated 30th of June 2011 --
Stopped changes to the normal match browser affecting new list style match browser.
