Minimal Location Bar
Description:
More info
Explanation of options:
* Location bar width: restricts the width of the location bar to a specified maximum size. 300 pixels is reasonable (200 pixels is a bit small, and 500 or above defeats the point a bit, but I'll give you the option. Firefox default: no maximum. Other values: choose, say, 300 pixels, install, find
#urlbar { max-width:300px !important; }
and change 300 to your desired with (in pixels).
* Location bar text: choose whatever makes it easier to read. Black text doesn't show up well on dark aero toolbars.
* Hide identity box: this is the beginning of the location bar, with the site favicon, page info etc. On short location bars it takes up too much space and detracts from the actual URL making it hard to read.
