Having a link change color isn't the most obvious way to show you've already clicked on it -- especially when you're visiting a site by somebody who went all Liberace on the font colors. This simple bit of code puts a line through visited links to make it more obvious.

You could also substitute other styles, such as "text-transform: uppercase" or "font-style: italic," but I think strike through is the most obvious.
