Description:

A style to make google as transparent as possible. The aim is to display the background image without any normal page styling while being able to see and read all the important bits on the screen.

Change the url on line 243 to whatever you want if you want a different background.

Saving on the site mostly as a backup in case I mess up the script so I don’t have to start again.

October 2014 - small update to make notification and app button visible with dark images. Also removed white line that appears between search options and results. (this only works on the google homepage and google search). The buttons on google images and other don’t show the correct images. (but they rarely get used). Created and tested on Firefox.

16 October 2014 - looks like google changed things about a week after my last change. have corrected the grey bar in search to be transparent. Also removed changes to app buttons.
