Hypem Blue Static
Description:
This style changes the default look of Hypem/Hype Machine to that of a dark blue skin with a static (TV) background! It also removes intruding content. Recommended with Adblock+.
More info
Version 2.0 (26/7/2014)
- New stack notification box made to fit theme. If people want it hidden instead, feel free to say so.
- Stack notification box image replaced.
- Stack pages header and player changed from white to black, the same style as the normal player.
Version 1.9 (4/6/2014)
- New playlist navigation changed to fit the style.
Text takes colour of button, though a little darker than the original.
- Add to playlist buttons colour removed and the + text has taken it's colour.
More transparent though.
- Comments box on update pages styled
For now i've retained the colour scheme given (though darker) to the new playlist feature as it uses colour instead of names when adding to the list. I feel changing them to blue might just confuse users.
Feel free to suggest something better.
Version 1.8 (4/10/2013)
- html & html body tags added to background, this just fixes the small white space created at the footer if your window is made small.
- Content wrapper background removed (the small grey transparent box that would appear above the footer on track pages).
Version 1.7 (23/9/2013)
- "Next 20" button when favouring a track made blue & transparent rather than it's previous state of grey.
- Close image replaced with a blue version.
- Phonograph image turned blue, pixelated with a blur (as to be retro!) and made around 70% transparent.
Version 1.6 (19/9/2013
- Changed background-size to cover, I mistakingly set it to contain previous. This will stretch the image to your window size so higher or lower resolutions will look good.
Version 1.5 (19/9/2013)
- New "Recommender" ad blocked.
- "Friends" & "Me" menus instead of being fully transparent are now only around 30%, they should now be more readable when on, for example, a page like genres where content is beneath them.
-"Friends" & "Me" menus now have dark blue borders to increase visibility.
Version 1.4 (14/9/2013)
- http://hypem.com/twitter/popular tweaked:
(search stuff is now blue)
(hovering over the twitter link no longer becomes orange but instead blue)
(Twitter-board is now visible on the page)
- Fixes for find friends page bottom panels being too bright
- Fixes for fancy buttons unhovered text being almost invisible
- Some other small fixes
Version 1.3 (14/9/2013)
- Changed background size to "contain"
Version 1.2 (14/9/2013)
- Fixes for advert blocks, adblock plus should not be required now, it is still a nice bonus in the event advert properties change though.
Version 1.1 (14/9/2013)
- Fix for header becoming grey when browser window is small
- Fix for miscellaneous pages (about, contact, etc.) not showing the background image.
Version 1.0 (14/9/2013)
- Original version, tested on Chrome & Firefox. Let me know if there are any bugs!
- Don't forget, you can grab an animated version of the background too! The default is set to still just in case the animated version bothers your eyes.
- Want both still and animated available? Rename your installed style to "Hypem Blue Static #2" and re-install from here, otherwise you can jump between the two by updating the style from this page!
* Remember that animated images require more resources, if you're on a computer from the 2000's I would go with the inanimate version.
