Using a 1920x1080 big screen, the first thing I noticed with the new wunderground is how the main content is a strip down the middle with vast white unused regions on both sides. So, I attempted to widen the main content.

The second thing I noticed was the bright white background and the pale hard to see pastel icons. So I added a background, which I may change but for now seems to help my old worn eyes(retired welder).

I wish I could replace the google map radar with Nexrad but that's beyond me. (Possible with Greasemonkey?) Hopefully they'll make it possible to set the default radar to Nexrad?

I may end up hiding another element or two. For now though, it's slightly better than it was. Not as good as Classic but I'm sure that's gone for good. Seen it happen on too many other sites. Oh well.

4/30/15 Added options to hide a few sections, partly because I may decide I can live without them, but mostly in an attempt to decrease the atrocious page load time. The defaults are NOT to hide it so if you want to hide, you need to select "Yes" and update.

5/1/15 Hide the "enticements" that appear under the radar when you select or deselect "Show Webcams".

5/3/15 Widened current conditions to 100%
Added option to hide the info section currently containing info on the Nepal earthquake. Very much experimental, if unsure, do not hide it, which is the default.

9/10/15 Added thicker easier for my weak eyes to see border around "today" in calendar view.
