For a wider GH I strongly suggest installing http://freestyler.ws/style/92443/wide-my-github, which does a much better job than my style ever did. I'll rebuild mine upon it so they're compatible.
-- Resize text to 100% (i.e your browser's default) for better readability.
-- Change colors to black on offwhite; use darker grays for better contrast.
-- Remove shadows.
