Description:

Default font is DejaVu. It's not important, page styles can replace it.
Page styles can't set font size other than 1em for page body. Headings scale from 1.1em for h6, to 1.6em for h1.
Style affects user interface.

More info
Size of 1em in pixels is set by browser default font size. That statement seems correct, maybe additional research could prove it's not, but i'm fine with it.
In firefox address bar type: about:preferences#content. Set default font size.
