Call me old-fashioned, but I have trouble identifying hyperlinks with nonstandard styling -- I'm looking at you, Tumblr! This style colors unvisited and visited links blue and purple respectively, and adds a basic underline. (No special formatting or anything, just the default text-decoration underline that goes right through descenders.) It's nothing fancy, but it makes my life a lot easier and hopefully will help someone else too...
