Description:

Provides highlighter-style background colors on links for films nominated for a 2017 Oscar (i.e., the 89th Academy Awards, to be held on 26 Feb 2017). Makes it especially easy to spot nominated films when browsing http://www.imdb.com/showtimes/.

More info

Links to the nine Best Picture nominees for 2017 are highlighted in green on IMDb. Feature-length films nominated in any other category are highlighted in yellow. Nominated short films are highlighted in orange.

Visit http://www.imdb.com/oscars/nominations/ to test that the highlighting is working properly, and to quickly spot patterns thanks to the color-coding. ("Hmm, Silence is the only Cinematography nominee not also nominated for Best Picture....") As an example of how it works in showtime listings, http://www.imdb.com/showtimes/location/US/90028/).

v1.0 (25 Jan 2017): Initial release.

v1.1 (10 Feb 2017): Added ShortsHD theatrical packages for Animated & Live Action Short Films. (The two Documentary Short packages have no IMDb ID and can't be selected via pure CSS.)
