This style for Google Calendar is derived from http://freestyler.ws/style/20396/wider-tasks-interface-for-google-calendar by leechael@userstyles (updated to line up better with Calendar's new interface update). This style also increases the height of the Tasks panel (by 50px)--useful, obviously, only if you enable one or more Labs gadgets (which, by default, reduces the height of the Tasks panel by about half). I have three sizes I use--big, bigger, biggest--of which this is the 'big' one (only about 20px wider than the default). They're designed to line up on the left with the left side of the new view buttons for Day (biggest), Week (bigger), and Month (big); see the comments in the style for more info (you just have to save a new style with the updated values, which you can also change to whatever you prefer).

The image below shows the size as set by this style ('big'). (The 'bigger' settings would extend to the left about another 50px, and the 'biggest' settings would extend to the left by an additional 40px. Or whatever values you might set them to.)
