Hide text in empty textboxes

Added by makondo@userstyles, Created: Sep 04, 2010, Updated: Sep 12, 2013
No screenshot

Description:

Firefox only. Works, see the pic.
Does what it says: hides empty URLbar text (aka placeholder), hides empty searchbar search engine name, hides 'Search blah blah...' in the Addons Manager search box, etc. I have found very few boxes that it didn't work for (web pages) but those would need a separate style i'm not going to bother with. All my styles for whatever sites take care of it on individual basis anyway.
Do you really need a screenshot of an empty searchbar? ;-) ( well, there it is, my searchbar )

More info
06/12/11 - code cleanup, thanks Sonny@userstyles!
01/13 - due to the application changes coming in Fx19. You should see an error, it's normal since the style is for versions before Fx19 and Fx19*, just ignore it. Thanks to banthaz (see the comment below)
