In a "silent update" to version 1.5.9 of OGame (without changing the version number) Gameforge added a background image to the footer menu of each page. Unfortunately, Google Chrome does not seem to handle image backgrounds properly and it displays an annoying black band as the pages of the game are scrolled. This is especially visible on the statistics (Highscore) page, but exists on all pages and can prevent the sending of fleets.



This little script solves the problem by removing the background image of the footer. (The footer itself is not touched.) If you do not use Google Chrome to play the game, you don't need this script.
