Description:

Hides plugin objects and HTML5 canvas. This may occasionally save a lot of CPU & GPU power, and in certain browsers this even causes embedded content not to download*).

*)at least in Fx2+ "hidden" (not displayed) flash objects are not even downloaded. Wee :)


Instead of this you may
- use "Flashblock" extension: it does principally the same as this userstyle, but is more manageable. It relies on enabled javascript.
- in FF3 go to Tools > Add-ons > Plugins : Flash : disable. Gorgeous, 'cos you do not have to restart browser :)
