The skins intentionally low contrast, best suited to darker room lighting, but can tweak it to show a silver background for brighter lighting, it looks better dark, but the silver backgrounds a decent workaround: just change the html background color on line 12 from .7 to 0

about the chatbox feature, am unable to make the background transparent, so it doesnt match the rest of the skin, have tried to blend it in best as possible

fwiw, the script layouts pretty disorganized without clear groupings of site areas, so dont expect to find it simple editing, i will rewrite it later with better grouped sections but'll be a bit of a project

also, you can get the transparent tooltips shown in the screenshots http://freestyler.ws/style/105175/transparent-tooltips-and-statuspanel-dark, might also wanto try one of my scrollbar scripts, you dont see any in those screenshots cause i use the autohiding version
