With the style applied

To make the typesetting resemble the printed page somewhat.

More info
For people who inexplicably don't like the standard double space and no indent style that is thought to be more readable on backlit screens.

If FF net were to add a language element in its html this style would also enable hyphenation if the browser supports it.

The first line is in small caps and not indented, and the first letter is larger in size. Does not look good if the chapter starts with an author's note. This style also doesn't look good applied to poetry.

Horizontal rules are shorter in width.

You should to add comment and rate the style.
